New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released a short notification for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices. As per the notice, the online application process will begin tomorrow, September 15, 2025, and will continue until October 16, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website powergrid.in. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying.
Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with 10th/ITI, BE/BTech, BSc, or Diploma in the relevant trade/field can apply.

The minimum age requirement is 18 years.
Application Process

Applications must be submitted online only through the official website: www.powergrid.in.

Applications via offline mode will not be accepted.

There is no application fee; candidates from all categories can apply free of cost.
Required Documents
Applicants need to upload scanned copies of:

NATS/NAPS apprenticeship registration/enrollment number and updated profile.

Educational certificates and mark sheets.

Age proof (Matriculation certificate, Aadhaar card, Passport, etc.).

Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) in Government of India format (if applicable).

Bank details (Cancelled cheque/first page of passbook with DBT-enabled account).

Recent passport-size color photograph and signature.
Selection Process

No written exam or interview will be conducted.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification (DV).

Final selection will be based on the DV process, and the merit list will be published.

The apprenticeship duration will be 12 months (1 year).
